It was estimated that over 450 facilities providers bid to get on to the framework and it was reported that only 75 places were available. After analysis from the Crown Commercial Service only 25 contractors were awarded places on the framework per lot.
Pareto FM was successful in winning a place in Lot1(a) & Lot1(b) entitling the company to bid on contracts up to £50 million.
Andrew Hulbert, Managing Director and bid lead commented: “This has been a long and challenging journey to get on to this framework, but we are thrilled with the result. To have a business a young as Pareto FM, out play the established industry competition and win a place on this framework gives us great heart in what we do.
“We looked on with interest as many of the establish service providers in the sector complained in the FM press about this process, we put our resource in to creating the best bid and were successful. We believe that this shows the Government is now serious about changing the way it delivers facilities services to its built environments and that SME’s are best placed to deliver innovative, cost effective solutions.
“This is a major time in the journey of Pareto FM and we look forward to broadening our customer base as a result.”
