Pareto FM makes a ‘Big Bang’ with Institute of Physics contract win.
The Institute of Physics (IOP) have announced that Pareto FM have been chosen to provide workplace services to their newly built headquarters in Caledonian Rd.
The Royal Charter company, with over 50,000 members, provides an international centre for physics that showcase the best of modern science and engineering. The building itself is an exemplar of modern design incorporating bore hole cooling piles, cooled concrete exposed floor slabs, natural ventilation systems, and rainwater harvesting with blue and green roofs.
Kate Meehan, Managing Director of IOPEnterprises commented “Moving in to a new building is never an easy task but when the building is an innovative structure showcasing the contributions of physics to include such systems as ground source heat pumps, PV panels, and an enhanced BMS system, the action becomes even more of a challenge! Pareto has worked with the IOP to overcome a number of obstacles starting with a changing move in date! Working to get us up and running was no small feat but Pareto did this with grace and humour. We look forward to a great partnership”.
Andrew Hulbert, Pareto FM MD “We are incredibly proud to have been awarded this contract after going toe to toe with the industries more established providers in the tender process. This partnership is based on genuine collaboration and signals the future of how the facilities management industry should operate. We’re also incredibly excited to be operating in a building with one of the most advanced BMS’s and sustainability strategies in Europe”.
